Le Grenier (French for attic) is an inconspicuous and unassuming vintage furniture store towards the top of Brick Lane.
Run by husband and wife, Jean-Louis and Yuko, since 2008, the pair have an unbelievable talent for finding hidden house ware gems and accessories. Not to mention they are exceptionally kind and welcoming...

I adore this shop ! It's always full of gems ! From the daintiest tea cups to some amazing retro pieces anything from sideboards, chairs, lights it's endless, if I could furnish my house with all their stock I'd be in heaven.
The owners are also very friendly and helpful and it's very nice to see an independent shop, before Shoreditch becomes completely corporate.
