Such a beautiful cafe, with amazing interior. It helps that it doesnt have wifi because its way more intimate and gets people actually talking!

Did a life painting class, which was fine - good model, good pose, got pretty far along with an oil painting by the end. Then was told could leave it there for a week or so to touch dry before I moved it, since obviously it was wet still at this point. Was guaranteed it would be safely looked after - came back and it was gone. Nowhere to be found in the whole studio.
Pointless waste of time doing the class, since my entire reason for it was to have a live model to paint from. Not offered any help by staff when I explained it was missing on my return (in fact they were dismissive and uninterested) and never offered an apology or compensation (eg being able to attend another class half price) when I complained by email. So do the classes by all means, but don't leave any belongings there.

second class art exhibitions, bordering on the crafts side, but a hidden gem quirky low profile cafe and the place is full of ambience.
