I completely trust John Hankinson's. The team is knowledgeable, compassionate and experienced - I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. It's such an important job, and they do it so well. Thank you, especially Vanessa and John.

I met with John Hankinson by chance.
I just happened to live locally.
He has been the vet for my 2 pets for 4 years now.
I would like to mention how passionate, dedicated, caring and knowledgeable he is !
Recently he performed a surgery on my much loved cat Blacky.
He sacrificed his free time to help my sick cat as soon as it was needed.
The consultation, surgery and follow up treatment was done with so much care and devotion.
There is no one I can think of who could help my cat better.
I feel very privileged and lucky to have met John.
I can rest assured knowing that my cat is in safe hands and in the best possible care when I take her to John.
John, thank you very much for all the work that you do !

Been taking my dogs here for 8 years now and I have always had the best care and service.
Yes, at time you may have to wait a little for your appointment, but that's because John and his staff always take the time you and your pet needs in consult, discussing and explaining treatment.
Vanessa Low has been treating my old greyhound for spinal arthritis and other geriatric symptoms for the last year, including regular acupuncture sessions - her expertise and care has definitely helped to keep him comfortable and happy and still with us at nearly 12 years old.

I needed a repeat proscription for pain relief for one of my Rabbits (who has been a patient of there's for a few years now) as we had run out.
I called on the 8th of June and was told it would be sent out that. I thought I'd double check my address with the receptionist just to be safe. Lucky I did, as they had completely the wrong address.
I called back in on the 12th of June as I hadn't received the prescription and obviously needed pain relief for my rabbit, who is suffering with a bad back leg.
The person on reception wasn't sure what had happened and said they would send it again. I called back in on the evening of the 13th as still not received.
I was told it must have been lost in the post and they would send it again.
As of today the 15th of June it's still not received and apprantley will be with me tomorrow.
This has now taken over a week just to get a repeat prescription for a pet rabbit who is a patient of theres. We've spent over £2k with this practice for rabbit treatments and no one I've spoken to, seems to care about the prescription not being sent.
The situation is just ridiculous and appalling.
