They are very good for the emergency service they offer at a low cost to clients who qualify for help..The vet treatment is less bespoke than high end vet clinics, but it's acceptable. My cats have done well here.

as I could not take my dog to vet my daughter and son in law look him for suspected ear problem , anyway after vet examined him my dog bit my son in law which did not need stitches ,and vet said he have be put down , my son in law didnt want that , to cut story short I reported it to police and they said he was either in pain or scared and this was a one off,every professional I have spoken to so far have said the same ... I even contacted battersea which shocked me saying they can't re homed as he dont like other dogs since he was bitten at 4yrs old there only choice was to put him down , its been extremely upsetting as my dog who is 9 half has never bitten anyone till now .. Because i am not allowed my gran daughter to visit me and my medical problems my thought was to give him up as I am not able to get him to the vets anymore ..I am looking into a professional behaviorist because he bit my son in law and vet home visits , I have been torn apart between family and my dog , all this because of a vet at PDSA saying he should be put down and now I a backed into a corner my dog has been the most loyal dog ever caring loving playful I will never take my dog to this place again. My dog is a golden retriever......Update today I spoke to a dog behaviorist she said this is one off and dog must of been in pain or fearful and bitten to escape its a way a dog protects them selves from further discomfort and not to put my dog down also I was doing the right thing turning my dog around to not face a dog hat gets too close as he not very good with other dogs

Good with animal welfare and dispensing flea and worming treatment.. kind caring ppl.. great for diagnosing and explaining would recommend.. f

Excellent care given to pets, nothing bad to say apart from the telephone line, it takes hours if not more to even be able to get through at all, to make an appointment. I do not see any reason for the line to be constantly blocked as when you go into the vets, the reception desk is empty not busy. very difficult to communicate because of this. Other than this big problem, the PDSA do a great job!
