I've visited this vet a few times now with my first pet puppy called Ralph. Every visit has been absolutely brilliant. All the staff are caring, polite and passionate about their jobs and completely made me and Ralph feel so comfortable. Ralph was a a bit sad and poorly when I got him which made me terribly anxious. Jo-the amazing vet-made everything better and that was before she even looked at or treated him. Her caring nature and expertise made me feel immediately better and Ralph even perked up as soon as he set eyes on her which made me look like a liar. Ralph received his first injections there and they were given with lots of love and were also very reasonable prices.
I feel I have an excellent support network at this surgery and have been made to feel like I can discuss any worries I have with Ralph, no matter how small they are.

Used to be amazing when Ben owned this place- but not sure I would recommend this any longer. We have a Bengal cat, he hurt his leg recently £430 for an xray (and anaesthesia) that turned out to be unnecessary. They also tried to upsell teeth cleaning. Really hard when they pull on your heart strings. I think that they just wanted the cash. Before there was much greater understanding for what was affordable rather than pushing you to pay more or have unnecessary procedures. Small animals can be at great risk going under anaesthesia, having these kind of interventions done (especially when not necessary) is thought to shorten their life expectancy.

After Ben (the previous vet) retired, my first experience with the new vet, Jo, was brilliant.
I had taken my rabbit, Frappuccino, in to the vets and I have to say, I instantly felt at ease with Jo. She came across as very caring, professional and knowledgeable - which, after having Ben as my family vet for as long as I can remember, was really comforting. I had to see Jo about 5 times in the last 5 weeks because of my rabbit's health and each time I had the same experience. My rabbit was completely relaxed during all of the exams, which is rare for rabbits as they are really skittish animals! I felt completely safe with Jo and would highly recommend her as the local vets to go to. The pricing of treatments was reasonable and Jo was more than willing to talk about costing options with me when I asked.
I very much look forward to having Jo as my new family vet as I know my 2 rabbits and 2 cats are in safe hands. Thanks Jo!

Have been going to Ben for over 25+ years.
He is a really nice chap and cares a lot about his work and the welfare of animals.
Go there get some of our cat biscuits and other stuff.
When we had to put our last cat down he was so kind and compassionate and sided with my wife to bury him with our girls when I would have just had him cremated. Right decision and one if I had my way would have haunted me for a long time.
We talk a lot about photography and I know he is a keen sailor too.
Really good practice and your animals are in 100% safe hands.
Ben has now retired and left which is very sad for a lot of us who knew him a long time.
Going to try the new service and will report back when I know more.
