Had a meal there tonight to celebrate my g/f getting a first on her degree, she had an olive and bread starter I had garlic king prawns , six to be exact , got lots more olive's and bread , could have been a few more prawns....she had the £27 steak which she said was 'ok' I had the fish and chips , let down by the worst tarter sauce I've ever tasted chips were underdone , they said the sauce was out of a packet , expensive , £58 with a coke and a cider , 3 stars for the food and value , 4 for the staff who were efficient and pleasant

came here for valentines the food was stunning, staff were very friendly and really tried to make the night special, the only really strange part about the night was it was so quiet, not sure why this was but definitely something to be addressed.

Looking at other reviews this may be an off day, but this was some of the worst food I've ever had. Took over 40 minutes to come out, and they weren't even busy at the time.
I had the pie which was deflated, and inside was pretty much a bit of meat and a carrot in dish water. Took a customer there who said it was the worst chicken burger he had ever eaten, even the chips were bad.

We actually stayed at the hotel here so what I'm reviewing is room service. The food was good, shower the selection was limited and my fish and chips were too salty.
