We went on a wednesday night and restaurant was lets say 40% full so service was very good. We both ordered trio of medallions, one was thin cut while other was fat chunky fries , green beans and rucola and kale salad. Everything was served and cooked to perfection apart from the salad which had no kale whatsoever. We also ordered the red wine and peppercorn sauce which were both
quite disappointing. Lovely experience but still bit pricey.

It may be expensive however what an experience...beautiful decor..in an old church..fantastic church organ ..huge chanderliers..spotlessly clean..food to die for..we had a rump and ribeye..best ever we have had and we are in our mid fifties..staff were polite..proffesional..and extremely informative..i would reccomend this place to everyone....save up ..you wont be disappointed..

Went here with a couple of friends after hearing wonderful things. Lovely decor, is probably the most positive I can say. I have never refused to pay the gratuity that has been so helpfully added at 12.5% before, but I did here. Waiter kept disappearing, left without even ordering drinks for over half an hour, when we did eventually get to order our wine waited a further 15 minutes to receive this, then other drinks came later still. Bread was brought to the table after over an hour of being seated at our table and as our waiter turned and walked away our meal arrived, so our bread of 4 pieces even though there was 5 of us was removed before it had even touched the table! There was no sign of attentive waiting staff on hand to fill our glass, to be fair there was no sign of our waiter! One of our party ordered dessert which then took over half an hour to arrive and at best was described as Angel Delight! After sitting for quiet some time with empty drinks and and no one to ask if wanted any more, we discussed the possibility of just leaving without paying or just leaving what money we thought our evening was worth, which I can assure you would have been a quarter of what the bill was! Eventually caught the eye of a very well dressed gentleman who I assume was a manager and asked for the bill, which again after a long wait arrived, no gratuity of any kind left! Steak was alright, was a nice cut of meat but was bitterley disappointed by the whole evening and will not be returning ever! My advice to those who want a lovely sophisticated evening, don't go here!
