Amazing place! Really friendly staff, very helpful and polite without being annoying like you get in a lot of places. Quick service, lovely atmosphere, and most importantly, fantastic food (would recommend the chicken wings for a starter, best we've ever had). Price was very reasonable, around £55 for two people (including a starter, main course each, 2 pints of beer and 3 cocktails). Would definitely come here again on our next visit to Manchester, it's a refreshingly different place compared to all of the chain restaurants surrounding it. Very impressed!

The thing I particularly love about Papa G's is that the food is so savoury! No matter what I've had there, it's always an amazing taste experience, even the stuff I don't find as palatable. The cuisine is Greek, and as well as the food being tasty, the staff is always friendly in there, from the manager to the waitresses. I recommend one of their burgers, they're great!

I cannot praise Papa G's enough. I have been numerous times and everything from welcome to leaving is always spot-on. I love trying the different Greek dishes and love that everything is freshly prepared in house. My less adventurous friend ordered a burger and was astounded that it was the best burger he had ever tasted. Vas, who was the manager that night, explained that their burgers and sausages are prepared from scratch.
My favourite dish is their moussaka, which is a vegetarian version, although, as I discovered on my last visit, they are happy to serve this with lamb if given advance notice. This comes with a feta salad. Usually I'm not a fan of feta but somehow it always tastes good here.
The hosts are always delightful and friendly, and remember names and personal requests, while the waiting staff seem to float invisibly so that they can appear at just the time that you need their attention.
