This place is excellent. The service is perfect, the ambience and atmosphere within the restaurant itself are fantastic. The food is beautiful, everything has rich powerful flavours. Highly recommend this place if you want a quick lunch or more substantial evening meal.

3rd or 4th time to San Carlo’s restaurant. Booked in advance but turned up early on Sunday at 1830pm and got a table no problem. Waiter and waitress impeccable, filling wine glasses, very attentive without intruding, and food served in good time. Could not fault the food, best fillet steak I have had and I have eaten a lot! I guess the service must be hit and miss as ours has always been good. I am fussy if waiters aren’t there when you want something and I only had to ever look round and they came over. Enjoyed 2 perfect Margaritas to finish off a lovely dinner.

One of my favourite places to eat. Great welcome, lovely food and fine wine. Not the cheapest around but the atmosphere and the quality are worth the price.

Probably the best value restaurant in Manchester. We've previously had dishes from the extensive seafood menu but today opted for steaks. Two perfectly charred medium rare fillets with lightly fried and lightly salted fries and a delicious spinach, manchego and sun dried tomato salad. Excellent and attentive service as always with a smile and humour we've come to expect from the brilliant staff. Had the montepulciano at around £28 and was pleased. My favourite restaurant in Manchester, will go again many times

Had a night in Manchester & was recommended to go here. We where not disappointed 😁 Very good atmosphere & best staff with lots of enthusiasm & advice. One of the most expensive meals we ever had but one we will remember ... steak & lobster..only dropped a star as the lobster was not as tasty as expected (probably farmed) but we have had fresh sea lobster abroad so we could compare. Steak was fab though. We might try another San Carlo nearer us next time.
