The location was great; 10 minutes walk to the city centre. The room was basic and a bit old fashioned but adequate; it was very clean which is a big thing for me! There were tea and coffee making facilities, a hair dryer and TV. We were in room 6, which was a disabled room. The bathroom had a shower over the bath and hand rails in the bath and next to the toilet. There were three emergency cords in the room (one next to the bed and two in the bathroom). Staff were friendly. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Parking is free and secure. Whenever you leave the site you are asked to give your room key in and to collect it when you get back. The reception is manned 24/7 so this isn't a problem. Free WiFi is available. Overall a pleasant stay and we would go there again.

Very good location close to city centre. Only one pillow provided so sleep could have been more comfortable. Rooms are quite cold and it sounds as though the windows are open but there are good heaters in the rooms.

Great frendly staff. Good parking facilities. At the time of our visit the hotel us under refurbishment. Our room nice and up dated. Shower room very small but understandably not an easy fix. Keep your door closed. Our friends set the fire alarm off using the shower 🙊. Public areas still need an update.

Staff were great but the mattress in the room was awful. Very hard mattress which prevented us from sleeping comfortably and gave us back aches. There's good parking nearby, staff are friendly. Rooms are in an okay condition. Rooms would benefit from softer mattresses, new duvets, more pillows. Hallway would benefit from a new colour theme.

The staff service was excellent and the place/room was very clean. To me that's the most important factor, especially for a "budget" price range. The restaurant food was decent and sensibly priced. You can also temporarily store your luggage for free after checking out which is very considerate. Again, the staff made this experience above what you'd expect for budget by always cheerfully offering to go the extra mile for you.
