Never fails to hit top spot. You have to start with the garlic rub bread,always a great steak in here too. Great wine selection and make a great Old Fashioned for whiskey cocktail lovers.

We arrived at 930pm without a reservation, lady at reception did ask and we replied no.
We were then sat next to the toilets. Not very romantic. Seats were available elsewhere. Also, The steak sandwich bread was dry and awful. However, my £44 mega steak was cut raw in front of me, cooked very well and was delicious.

The steaks are great if you're happy to pay good money. We were there on a 40% off day and got a variety of dishes. The waiter was very accommodating and had great recommendations. If you want to play it safe, get the chicken skewer starters, they're delicious and the sauce is complimentary. Depending on your love for steak, you'll have a fair choice, if you don't know what you after the waiter can be helpful, but the premium aussie black fillet was incredibly soft and juicy.

Difficult rating to give. A three and a half stars would be more accurate. The starter of crab and avocado was delicious as was the bread with chorizo butter. The mains of rib eye steak and sea bass fillet were good but nothing too special. The waitress however ignored or didn't listen properly to the request of tap water and instead brought a bottle of still water which we got charged. While this might seem petty, it is generally nice to pay attention to the customer's request. The pianist while we enjoyed his music, the combination of that and general noise made it quite difficult to sustain a conversation.
