From the outside it doesn't look like a hotel. But the hotel is above the pub. We were nicely welcomed and helped very well.
We booked the room with bathroom and it was very clean. We only stayed there for 1 night and that was perfect for that. There is only no breakfast and diner. But everything for that is near the hotel.

A Great pub to call in for a couple of beers. It can get very busy weekend afternoon's but the waiting time isn't too long to served. Also a roof top garden & good seating upstairs.

Overall good value for money in a central location. The room was big and quite clean. The pub downstairs is nice and has a good range of drinks. Despite some raucous people there our room was quiet. The shower was disappointing: not much pressure and stone cold! Otherwise pleased.

Really cheap hotel, good location & clean. Really friendly staff also. I was staying in the hottest room in the entire world in there! I think they knew how hot it was as they had a fan in the room. If there's anything on in town & I need a cheap room for the night....this place will be my port of call.

Very reasonably priced rooms, clean and comfortable. Surprisingly quiet above a pub. Good place to stay for a night or two to attend events in Manchester. Very good location, really near to tram and bus stops, just down road from Manchester Piccalilli station. Reasonable selection of beers in pub. Would definitely use again
