Traveled from across Manchester to pick up some takeaway only to be told that they would usually offer take out but not today as they were too busy! It was 4 in the afternoon and there are only about 5 tables in there!! All of which looked like they'd just finished their food anyway! Ridiculous customer service! I thought they'd welcome the business but clearly it's only to the right people they deem worthy...

The two waitresses who served us were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable, and they kept our tea and water topped up throughout the two hour stay.
The food from the tasting menu was seasonal, fresh and beautifully cooked, and it was a perfect selection, each time explained clearly by the waitress. There were also other menu items that I had never come across before in Manchester so I'll definitely be going back again.
Only one very slight disappointment - after such wonderful Japanese food, it was a shame that the dessert was not Japanese too. It was still very lovely and sourced from local high quality suppliers, but I had hoped for something equally memorable and Japanese. But all in all, a great experience and I would highly recommend it!

The best sushi I have ever had in England was here! I travel for work and I love sushi, so I check the reviews and go to sushi places wherever I am. Money isn't a consideration in my choices of food or restaurants. The sushi I had here today is the best I have had in a long time. It helps that the chef is Japanese. I have been to too many places where they are Nepalese or Chinese.
