Booked for a two night stay, the first night was adequate. The second night, we were locked out of our room. There was no alternative way of entering the room except for drilling a hole in the door. This happened in the middle of the night disturbing other guests. I asked to speak to a manager but there was no one on site. Not even a night manager. I was told I could speak to the manager in the morning, only to be handed a card by the front of house with an email address.
Fortunately though we were offered another room for the night. The manager did answer my email complant within 24hours, however the compensation was ridiculous being about 25% of the cost of our whole stay when in fact it should've been 50% at the least.
Probably wouldn't stay here again.

As soon as we were checking in, we were charged £100 even though the cost was £70. The woman at the desk told us this was because of tax. Later on, the person back home called the hotel to ask why we were charged an extra £30 and they had no idea why we were told this and we were told we would be given the £30 back as a refund. Apart from that experience, the stay was great. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning was easy to use, the lighting was great, and the room was a good size. The only complaints I have about the experience was that the fire alarm would be tested at very random times (sometimes extremely early morning or late night) and that the shower was not private and was in the main room, whilst the toilet was in a cupboard. The sink was in the main part of the room so you would have to touch the door handle with dirty hands after using the toilet and that is extremely inefficient and unhygienic. I think if the toilet "cupboard" was extended to include the sink and shower (for privacy and hygiene reasons), the room would be perfect.

Booking was simple. Would value a message saying I am expected 1-2 days beforehand. Check-in was friendly, quick, efficient and helpful. Room was simple but comfortable: things worked. Breakfast was good. Checkout was simple. Storing my luggage for a few hours worked perfectly.

Good. The room was great. We got seen to quickly when we arrived. And we were able to check out really efficiently and easily.
-The only thing I wasn't impressed with was that when we went out; Our room had been serviced (towels replaced, bed made, with all of our belongings moved out of the way) and we hadn't actually been asked if we wanted room service/occupied room service. I respect that it's just the staff trying to make your experience even better, but if they had maybe asked us if we wanted that service it would of been even better (We could've moved our belongings so they wouldn't of had to be handled/moved).
Overall, great stay for a great price. Would definitely book again.

Got to hotel at 11pm, took 4 staff and 10/15 minutes to figure out how to be able to check us in. Got up to the 3rd floor to room 304 (what we were told was our room), tried the key given to us a good few times and it didn't work so my partner had to go back down to the reception and they told us it was actually room 301. Got into the room and wanted tea and coffee - no kettle with any tea or coffee in room. Was not made aware however, that if I was booking an accessible room that it would not be a double bed which I booked. Not massive issue but would be nice if informed beforehand. Check out was fine
