never mind the claim service after accident...which is awful .... but their dealing and treatment with customers especially with the taxi drivers is degrading and humiliating. they are one of the few companies who offer a weekly and monthly insurance and because of this flexibility many taxi drivers use their service but they treat taxi drivers as if slaves as if they are doing a huge favour... absolutely disrespectful and derrogatory the way their staff deal with you....

Quated me £383 a month .. while headway quated same insurance for only £225 a month.. saved my self £158 .. DO NOT USE ACORN

Absoloutely terrible experience when it came to the single most important thing........A Claim!!!
A neighbours car had an electrical fault and caught fire, it resulted in my car also catching fire and being written off by his insurer - Acorn Insurance!
Since that time (at time of writing 4 weeks from incident) I have still not had a settlement for my car and the charred remains of my car are still parked in the street.
The Council have now written to me enforcing legal action if the car is not removed!
DO NOT TOUCH ACORN INSURANCE if you want an efficient claim service.
