Hotel is a bit run down but clean. The shower pressure was too low. The pillow wasn't very comfy. Not worth £105. Staff were nice though and the bed was comfy.

Attended VON Vegan Fair earlier at Sachas Hotel. Went to the Sophia Black talk and when we decided to go back inside the fair, I was showing my hand stamp to the security as a proof that I wasn’t trying to sneak in and that I paid the £3. The security guy (white tall guy near the stairs going to the toilet) was saying ‘So what?’ in a sarcastic tone. I didn’t get why he said that since I was motioning that I’m going back to the fair. What was the point of being rude really? Stupid scum.

The lobby was the only functional part of the building and that was at a push. We arrived to a faulty lift which made our ascent to the 5th floor difficult, to then be faced with a room missing a window pane? Sounds insane but I assure you it's accurate.

After multiple discussions with staff directing me to a manger who never could be found I was finally told they couldn't fix the window in the room because there weren't any maintenance staff around, and after discussing a room change or refund I was told they were fully booked and their policy wouldn't allow refunds.

Completely ruined our evening and a waste of money.
Wouldn't recommend this place even if it was the last one available.

Awful and expensive - most hotels get most things right with a few problems, not Sachas they get most things wrong with a few things that actually work. Problems include:
Bath that doesn't drain.
Holes in carpets.
Architrave of different types just screwed together.
Beds frames that looks as if they were rescued from the dump.
Taps that aren't connected to basins.
The rooms are bizarre shapes - as you might expect from children that can't quite draw right angles properly.
Carpets with completely different patterns next to each other on stairs and hallways.
Thick layers of paint on all woodwork.
The only positive thing about this hotel is that it is in the centre of manchester - I am pleased that I stayed out until 4am so I didn't have to spend too much time in the place.

Keen hotel, perfect for what we needed. A triple room and some dinner and breakfast. Nice food, nothing spectacular. Can be noisy at the weekend, but slept soundly in a comfortable enough bed. Staff very happy to help.
