Excellent off licence, I went for a selection of dark rums and I weren't disappointed.

Oddbins is an excellent local off licence.
But that's overshadowed by their 'car park' directly behind the shop. Drugs are openly sold there. A room previously used for rubbish is now a shooting gallery for heroin users. Three cars have been dumped. The overfilled skip and the fly tipping are constant problems and eyesores. At night time it's a no go area.
There needs to be security lighting, cameras, marked parking bays and 24 hour manned security cover.
Oddbins owners: organise this with the Co-Op, Saray, Oxfam, Red Cross and Lady Bountiful. Don't pass the buck anymore. Then this review will be amended.

Great little off license in the heart of Chorlton. I usually only go for the beer, but the wine choice also seems broad and well considered. Beer choice focusses on high quality local and UK produced craft ale, as well as a small range of world beers. Great place to go to check out the best beer being produced in and around Manchester. Friendly and knowledgeable staff make shopping for beer a genuine pleasure. Also do the odd event - like meet the brewers.

A chain it may be but it's also my favourite place to buy booze in Chorlton. Tiny's and the Chorlton Off License have good selections but the service in this place sets them apart for me.
I regularly pop in and talk to the staff about new beers in stock and if you know a bit of what you like, the staff will help further.
There's also an excellent range of whisky, gin and rums too. Not a massive wine buff so don't know what the selection is like but it looks plentiful.
