Very historic part of Manchester - visited by Engels and painted by Lowry. Now a pleasant park built on top of 40,000 burial plots.

Lovely park in this area of the city. The FOAM take good care of it. Definitely an oasis for the city....going to become even more if an oasis in the middle of some huge building which are going to come up around it...peace maybe list for a few years but hoping will be back to peaceful tikes soon after construction. Hoping for better maintenance and security once all construction is done and the extra council tax starts to flow in

Good for a sit down and views of the city from an unusual angle but also a historical setting (read the signs!) and a good place to walk with your dog. Pro tip : close to the marble pub that does great food
