This fish and chip restaurant (and takeaway ) serves seriously good food. Went today for first time and had the best fish and chips in years. Portion size was great and food was cooked to perfection and faultless. Would highly recommend. Serves fish that other chippies avoid like my favourite which is plaice. Food is cooked with love and experience. You could drive past this place and not even notice it but once discovered you will keep coming back. Very touched by the food including little things like home made tartare sauce. Best food by far. Friendly staff. Very well done to them all.

By far and away the best fish and chip shop in Salford, if not the north west! The staff are always friendly and efficient and the food is absolutely beautiful. If your a fan of fish and chips it's a must visit!

Really enjoy visiting Sykes' chippy. Call in every six to eight weeks for a sit down meal and read though the papers - a bit of 'me' time. Without fail the food (fish, chips & curry sauce) is always first class and served by happy and attentive staff. That's why I keep going back. Oh, they also do telephone orders to which is great. Just call and collect.
