Lived in Droylsden all my life, these days it's fantastic if you are looking to buy a take-away or something from a charity shop!

Droylsden shopping centre has great tram access, but currently has too many vacant shops. There's a large B&M, Wilkes and Peacocks. Lots of charity shops, a Greg's and a good coffee bar. Toilets are in the Concord Suite.

It's a shame that the council try to charge so much for rent and aren't open to new ideas. Banks shutting and most shops shut won't be long before it's a ghost town..... Reduce your rents knock that eyesore concord suit down and get with the times, there's massive potential for Droylsden with all the new homes being developed and a great surrounding area, invest in Droylsden and reap the rewards, it will happen Droylsden people need to love Droylsden again
