First visit to what, I anticipated to be a better than average establishment to eat to celebrate a birthday with friends.... A few of us ordered the same starters and, main course.... Seared Scallops were weren't good..... Bland, chewy and barely warm. Lobster special was equally disappointing.... Bad quality in general although, my Braised Beef Blade was nice.... Mushrooms with the steaks were raw and consequently we only ordered one dessert.....
Won't be going back again. Overpriced and disappointing.

The best banoffie pie you'll ever eat!!!!!!
Good service and a small but delicious menu, browns is my favourite place to eat in mk. Prices are towards the higher end, but every now and then you've got to treat yourself!

Food poisoning. Avoid.
In the last 48 hours my husband has eaten the exact same as me other than a burger from Browns.
I was very excited to go for our first meal there. I had the risotto which I thought was wonderful. However, when somewheres health & safety are so poor to result in food poisoning - just avoid! It’s not worth ruining the weekend.
I rang Browns to let them know he’s been throwing up sick since 1:30am & they weren’t apologetic but defended their ‘five star kitchen’. Clearly not a five star kitchen when you give customers food poisoning. Since their not looking out for your best interest - I am by writing this review so you know about their low health food standards & extremely poor customer service.
No one wants to pay someone to get them sick!! Not worth it. Avoid.

I went for afternoon tea here with a friend. We booked in advance but it was very quiet which was nice. We were given lots of tea refills, but it would have been nice if they had offered it to us throughout the experience rather than us always having to ask for it. The food and ambiance was lovely and I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Surprisingly good Sunday breakfast. Went years ago and was shut due to no chef but this time all went smoothly. Poached eggs on sourdough cooked well and tasty. Nice to see they'd tried to make dish differently to other chains. Staff polite and efficient. Ambience good for a Sunday morning. Will return.
