We went here for dinner for my mum's birthday. The service was very good and the food was of a high standard. We will definitely be coming back

New pub built in an old style. Great food and drink options. Huge outdoor seating area for sunny days. Is popular place so need to book a table for busy periods.

This is about the third time I have eaten here. The Pub, Surroundings and atmosphere in it self is lovely and I would recommend this place for a drink, but I have always found the food mediocre. Nice, sometimes, but nothing special. My family and I went for Sunday lunch today and my partner and I both opted for the Three Meat Roast, at £14.95 each, which consisted of, Gammon, Beef and Chicken with roast potatoes, veg and two huge Yorkshire puds. Both our plates were filled, but my chicken was so dry it failed to soak up any gravy and the roast potatoes were undercooked. My personal preference is always to have crispy roast potatoes so very disappointed. The Beef & Gammon were quite nice though. I did appreciate the place was packed so the waiter/waitress service was quite good considering how busy the place was. Would I eat here again? To be honest probably not. It was ok, but for what it cost I didn't feel it was value for money. I felt that the last two times I had eaten here so did give it a good chance.

Me and my brother just had visited here, on a busy Friday evening, stupidly we didn't reserve a table, but sat down straight away in the bar area after the nice guy at the desk offered it to us. Happily accepted. Then our waitress Georgia came over straight away and asked us for drinks, great service. Then our food order, my brother ordered the halloumi skewers and they came straight away then our mains came, they came out with good time and again for our pudding. Georgia is a very friendly, bubbly lady, she's an asset to your team 👌👌 will deffo eat here again 😊
