A friendly place in beautiful surroundings with top quality food and beer.

Excellent meal in the restaurant. Superb quality all freshly cooked. Will definitely come again.

Beautiful rooms, and delicious Italian food, in a really friendly pub. Stayed there for the night and would highly recommend it.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had, and definitely not worth £95 a night. Based on the reviews, I was expecting something quiet and pleasant. In fact, the accommodation is situated above a very ordinary pub. The landlady claims her rooms are soundproofed, but this is not the case: on the Friday night I was treated to the sounds of rugby chants and karaoke and on the Saturday my room throbbed to the sounds of an energetic covers band. I could neither sleep nor watch television. Appalling! The continental breakfast was very basic (nasty croissants).
The staff are very solicitous, the restaurant food is outstanding and the rooms are well kitted out but I don't think these things make it worth staying here.
