Let me tell you what happened when I visited Edin's this past weekend with my family... We sat down and ordered, I ordered the veggie breakfast with hash browns instead of the eggs. The waitress didn't understand, and brought me extra hash browns with egg. These things happen, no big deal.
However, when she returned this to the kitchen, I could here the chef, clearly making no effort not to be heard, but quite the opposite, started bellowing abuse about how inconvenienced he was by the food being returned. I was really quite shocked.
Next, we were brought a plate of avocado and eggs for my partner. I've included pictures, they were black, dotted with mould, and frankly inedible. My partner returned them. This caused the chef to flip, openly broadcasting insults and criticism of us as a table, again making sure he was heard, freely abusing and mocking how our 'fussiness' was making things awkward for him.
Even if the mistaken order and rotten food WAS our fault, I'd never expect to be verbally attacked out in the open by a member of staff. It was utterly astounding, we were all highly upset by the experience. I called over two waitresses at the end of the meal to complain, they apologized, but seemed resigned to the fact that he's a pig entrenched in his job, who no-one can do anything about.
Other reviews pinpoint the appalling behavior of this chef, it seems he's just a toxic piece of furniture, who you can't trust to handle you food or treat you with decency or respect. Not acceptable.
