Busted here for a friends birthday. The staff were great, although drinks took over ten minutes a couple of times. Food was excellent, I often get affected by MSG in Chinese food but I had a TON of stuff here, with no ill effects.

I've had the pleasure to have been several times for Sunday lunch and I can say honestly hand on heart the best restaurant here in Nottingham. Great value, spotlessly clean. Fantastic range of food and deserts to die for. 100% recommended will most definitely eat there again

Absolutely wonderful food and charming, attentive staff. Everything from our starters through to the post-dessert tea and coffee was made with obvious care and skill.
On top of the delicious food (the incredibly tender ribs and the juicy, crispy sliced duck were both highlights) we were extremely happy with the speed of service. Staff allowed us to relax and eat at our own pace, but as soon as we were ready we had the next course with us in seconds rather than minutes. We never felt rushed and we never felt made to wait, which really added to the pleasure of a fantastic meal.

Had 4 people order a set menu which had 3 main course dishes. Only 1 of each dish brought out so essentially sharing 3 dishes between 4 people.
The quality of these dishes was nothing special, worse than a takeaway. My local takeaway is even better, which is oriental chef.
Didn't ask if we wanted more drinks, had to ask them.

Last came here in 1991. Although the management has changed since then, it seems that the quality of the food and the service are just as good as they ever were.
Even though it was a Sunday, the place was busy. But they still managed to fit us in without a reservation. Although unfortunately not next to the window, so we didn't get to see the deer in Wollaton Park.
In short: great people, great food and a great atmosphere. Definitely 5 stars.
