Having a table booked for 7.30 to be then put at a waiting table for over 20 mins. The waitress didn't offer us a drink but others were offered. They then gave us menus to choose our meals prior to moving into the restaurant. On entering there were only 2 tables occupied. The food was then served quickly and although my lamb was slightly burnt it was still tasty. I've had much better experiences here so hope it was just a one off.

Went last night to celebrate the relocation of our family back to Nottingham ... as usual all staff very polite and courteous... owner is a delight and food was just delicous. We all loved the evening and will be back 🍷🍳🍟🍕🍺💖

I don't usually rate places, in fact I think this is the first and I feel I have to because my dining experience has been so exceptional, I will certainly be returning and I sincerely hope that they will take this feedback and make it, in my opinion, prefect. I should add that I've not even left yet, i just couldnt wait to share.
The service has been exceptional. Didn't have to wait long to order drinks or food and they both came quickly and were exactly what I asked for. The staff are curtious and seem to actually enjoy working here and it's a delightful warm atmosphere.
If I had to say anything negative, it would be that the steak sauce provided was just about enough to drown a small bee. It was delightful and flavourful but I'd generally enjoy enough to drown at least a horsefly or baby rodent.
