This is where Castle Rock is born - and a great spot to enjoy the locally made brew. Outdoor tables are nice though it is near a busy street - you can always stay inside the pub and enjoy the beer.

First time I've been here and was not disappointed. Curry and a pint for £7.95. Both very good. Huge selection of cask ales on offer with friendly and knowledgeable staff. If I didn't have a train to catch I would have stayed longer. Great place and deserves it's 5 Stars.

A nice pub attached to brewery, excellent beer. Nice hot tasty food, mash with proper spuds. Even some nutter with a parrot for entertainment
