The doctor here is absolutely amazing. He’s kind, funny and really knows what he is talking about! Which some doctors nowadays can be a bit clueless about and I’ve only been signed up with the doctors for 2 months, seeing him twice.
Reason I’m giving this doctors only 3 stars and not 5 stars is simply how I was treated today as a patient. I came into speak to a doctor about getting a repeat prescription on my Sertraline and also pick a new batch up. I’ve been taking the Sertraline for a few months with great success. I walk to this doctors with my friend, not realising that the times that are literally stated on this website are in fact open surgery for the first half (which she decided to tell me had been completely empty this morning for some reason) and that I needed to book a appointment if I was arriving for the non surgery times which is the latter of the times, bearing in mind if I do that if I book a appointment there’s a 2 week wait... Nowhere does it state that about their times!? So why would I assume this, unless it’s on their website, but with them providing times on Google, I could only assume it being there that it’s correct. I pretty much pleaded to see if I could speak to anyone to get the new batch today as I have none to take now for what may be days... As I am away for a few days in York for work then working 9 - 5 all the other days and that to me is a massive concern. I could have been given a chance if there was a extra 10 minutes the doctor had after a appointment or something; all I needed was his signature on my prescription; that’s it. I felt as a patient and someone with a concerning mental health condition just kind of thrown out. She gave me no advice or guidance, so yeah not a good experience. :(
