Got married here in September. The staff were all fantastic and did everything in their power to make it the perfect day. Bernie is an absolute legend and was always 3 steps ahead of us. I stayed in the penthouse the night before and was treated like royalty. Food was amazing as was the hotel. The staff all went above and beyond in every aspect. Thank you so much for helping to make our day so special.

Nice hotel for what we were looking for. Room quite spacious. Only thing I would say is that we had to ring from outside to get through to room service. Also be aware of the post code. Look online it's 6EB at the end which directs you to the hotel. Other code gets you in the vicinity abd if don't know the area it's harder.

Great stay away. Such a lovely hotel staff very friendly. Lovely executive rooms. Will definitely stay again

The St James Hotel was ideally located close to town, the staff were very helpful and the room was adequate and comfortable although the door to the bathroom wouldn't close and there was nowhere to hang the towels. We decided to pay for breakfast but I wouldn't bother again as it was pretty limited (only scrambled rubbery eggs - no other egg options) and not great quality (no nice bread for example). Overall nice hotel, nice staff but some things could do with improvement.

Stayed in "crash pad" which was incredibly basic; not at all what I would book for business travel. The hotel looks every bit the boutique hotel it pitches to be from exterior (good curb appeal) and lobby. Elevator is very sketchy so took stairs. Heavy doors that slam all night and hallway lights that a bit of time to come on add to shadiness (literally)of the joint. Room was tiny; no amenities unless one counts the portable plastic fan. There are much better economical places to stay in the area.
