They usually have been OK, but lately they have been missing things, last time they forgot some of my Papadom after 2 hours waiting.

Messed up the order. They promised to deliver the missing items but never did. And then the food itself was unfortunately pretty average.

We ordered our curry at 21:03 and didn't receive the food until 22:17 which was quite a wait, it was only 2curries, a rice and a naan. Once it got here we were excited so started plating up our food. My girlfriend dug into hers and I took 1 bite out of mine before I realised there was a black hair in my food so I started removing it and it turned out to be a really long black hair, I was mortified!
I called up Sanam Restaurant to be greeted by a gentleman who passed me onto the manager, I explained the situation to him and he offered to create another dish, he said it would be 10mins max. I said "ok sure". It was a few minutes later when I had to call back again to tell him I won't be needing the curry as the chicken in my girlfriends curry had put me off as it was pink!
The chicken was under cooked!
When I got passed on to the manager again he said the chicken couldn't be pink and that it is very rare they have complaints, really calmly I said I understand however I would like a full refund, I also said I could show him the hair and the pink chicken. He said ok I will call you back in 2minutes. I waited 15minutes before calling back and this time I was answered with a really rude tone and I said "you were going to call me back in 2minutes? It's been 15." He then said sorry but the manager isn't here anymore and he rudely said I'll have to call back tomorrow or file a complaint through hungry house. I asked politely for his name and he aggressively said no and hung up the phone.
I will never be going to these guys again! And I definitely do not recommend, what a disappointment!

I've bought food from this takeaway 3 times now and each time it's been delicious. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else now, this place is great! The people who answer the phone to take my order are always polite and friendly, the food is excellent quality and value for money, and the delivery driver is lovely and friendly too. I would definitely recommend Sanam to anyone, as it is the best Indian takeaway in Nottingham in my honest opinion.
