Been a while since we have been as the menu went a bit down hill. Glad to say new menu is great. Food great and staff very friendly. Will be back soon.

Quaint and cosy. Great place to visit for romantic outings. I would highly recommend a visit. Good for a quiet drink and for dining out.

Going downhill fast at lunchtime today. Seems to be a change of staff driving this, with daytime staff being remote, impersonal and difficult to find. Always one of my favourite places before, having to go ask for everything rather than having the table service you pay for is the first sign of problems.

It had been a very busy day at this restaurant and we had not booked a table. The staff went out of there way to accommodate us. A table for two was found. In spite of being busy the member of staff who served us was friendly helpful informative and efficient. What we had originally wanted to order was not available and it's unavailability was beyond there control. Informative explanation was given. Our order was taken and the food was excellent and enjoyed. We wanted a cup of coffee and tea to follow but they had been so busy that no cups etc were available. We ordered a soft drink and while waiting the member of staff came back with a tea and coffee apologising for the mugs. We were appreciative of the efforts made and the service offered. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant and hope your experience of the service and food is as good as ours.

Delicious traditional Sunday roast, portions just right, several menu choices and really tasty. Service was great, friendly and helpful, neither rushed nor slow. We stopped eating out for Sunday lunch because most places had been a disappointment compared to the roasts we cook at home but today we were very pleasantly surprised, thank you China House
