I rang to ask to speak to a vet after they put my cat on medication, as it didn't seem to be working and in fact, seemed to make his overactive thyroid symptoms worse. I was promised a call back that day or the next, neither of which happened. I chased them up and eventually spoke to a nurse who was unable to answer my queries or say for certain whether my cat should remain on the medication. She promised a vet would call me back imminently as I explained I was seriously concerned. After no call and chasing them up again, I got a call from a vet on Thursday - one whole week after my original call. She agreed with my concerns and said I should bring Biscuit in. Unfortunately, Biscuit passed away that Sunday. I can't help but feel that if I had received the call back from the vets within the first couple days of ringing them, this could have been avoided.
Since then, I have emailed Rosehill vets to explain this, to which I have had no reply. I find this unacceptable as my cat died prematurely as a direct result of their inability to call back within a reasonable amount of time. I certainly would never go back with any future pets; they clearly prioritise financial gain and take on as many clients as they can, regardless of whether they can offer an acceptable level of care to each one.

My rabbit has had ongoing back problems for a while and we usually bring her here.
All of the staff are lovely and good at what they do.
Only problem is that waiting time is often very long.

Trevor Grinter and all the staff at Rosehill are absolutely fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble for them as far as animals are concerned. They are all friendly and helpful and go out of their way to accommodate all their clients
