Cosy atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. Good size food portions everything is fresh homemade and tasty. Definitely recommend it anyone. We will be visiting often.

What can I say, this place is second to none staff really go the extra mile. Good home cooked food amazing staff, if you haven't been here yet then your missing out!!

Have been on several occasions. Every time the food the service and the welcome are amazing. I would recommend The Angel without any reservations.

First visit. Food was excellent, good choice and also a wide selection of vegetarian meals for a friend. locally sourced / produce where possible. Reasonable prices. Dogs allowed inside the bar. Lovely beer garden. friendly hosts.
