Room was to hot and the radiator did not have the temperature dial to turn the heating down. No mirrors in the room and no hairdryer in the room, like detailed in the facilities. Furthermore there was mold in the shower.
On a more positive note.. new wood floor was nice.

Stayed at this hotel last week and although the breakfast was lovely and the reception staff so very nice, the hotel is tired and tatty. The room was clean but two single beds pushed together as a double, creased sheets not ironed and thin shabby towels. Not the best!

For the money,it isn't a glam place to stay it was clean and bed was really comfortable and was cheap.Staff were really friendly and helpful and plenty of choice at breakfast.Would definitely stay again if I'm that way again.

Don't get me wrong this isnt a 4* hotel. But for a very low price you get a clean comfortable place to sleep and a nice hot shower, parking and 24hr friendly checkin close to motorway which I what I needed to break my late night journey from carlisle to Devon. With the window open I could hear the motorway which is the downside of convenient location, but with it closed I was fine.
Don't get me wrong this isnt a 4* hotel. But for a very low price you get a clean comfortable place to sleep and a nice hot shower, parking and 24hr friendly checkin close to motorway which I what I needed to break my late night journey from carlisle to Devon. For the money this hotel ticks a lot of boxes. More than reasonable given other larger chains in close proximity who's rate were double. Has a Gym on site which is FOC for residents. Food was good value for money, rooms are spacious but basic and have all needed amenities In the room. Iron/ fan/ tea/coffee. Perfect for those looking for a budget hotel.
