We had a great family gathering here at the weekend. Giles was so accommodating when I was booking it and while we were there. The food and atmosphere was perfect for the group of varying ages. The kids loved watching their pizzas being made and cooked. I couldn't recommend it enough for a family event!

Popoed in for a nice coffee with the family while out on a rather drizzly walked. We were pleased to find that our dog was welcome to come in while we had our drinks. Our coffees and the service were excellent.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Shaftesbury with bar and restaurant, and extremely friendly staff.

Lovely hotel.
I'd be more than happy to stay again.
Clean room and reception, with friendly helpful staff.
Breakfast is continental and cooked to order.
The bar did get loud in the evening. It was the weekend in a small town when we stayed, so no surprise.
No lift so not much good for a wheelchair, also narrow hallways.
Parking is odd. One car per room policy. The parking is located behind shops a little walk away. If your safely conscious you could feel uneasy.

Our visit was marred by the noise from the loose window panes. Not just rattling but banging with the breeze. Up in the early hours trying to pad them out with paper etc, no effect! Food here is good and the hotel beds are comfy if you can sleep, avoid bedroom 11 at all costs. Disappointed.
