Never had a bad night at the Dog. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, decent prices, good range for a small and cosy pub.

Great place to start the night off (and end it). Real ale, decent bar snacks, a good selection of lagers and even a cocktail menu. Always a warm welcome from the bar staff.

My experience was at its height during Anne's reign - now it's just a plastic Paddy pub - "real" ale - no such thing in Ireland it's not worth drinking !!!!!!

Cosy bar. Free counselling service if Zoe is on. Good beer and nice crowd. The sort of pub you can enjoy a quiet pint or enjoy a chat.
