Huge choice of gins. Tasty food. Gin schools are fun. Music a bit too loud though. Staff friendly. Currently closed for a refit, so I hope it's not changed too much.
Visited today, 29 October. Rather disappointed at the change. It's more of an eatery than a pub now. Waited at the bar to be served, but both members of staff busy making up table orders and we weren't acknowledged. Asked if we were eating by waitress, which we were and told only one table left, which we took. Ordered a couple of gins. Waited a while for them to arrive, then told out of stock of one of them, so ordered a different one. Asked for Fevertree tonic, but got a different brand? Ordered food. One of choices not available. I didn't enjoy mine I'm afraid. Quiche and salad. Both quite oily in texture and quiche crust too dry. Most other people were eating. It just doesn't feel like a pub anymore. Lots of tables reserved, so if you wanted a drink, had to stand at the bar. Sorry, but it's not an improvement and we won't rush back.

Gone downhill after the refurb, still okay and nice food menu but looks more like a cafe now.

Great venue for a Sunday breakfast. Excellent range of food including meat, vegan, vegetarian and gf. Was let down by the food prep time, 40 mins for a breakfast is too much. Hopefully just a glitch.

Went for brunch with a friend, we’ve been before (many many months ago) and were impressed. However this time the brunch was cold and the wait for the cold food was over 30 mins (the restaurant was only a quarter full). However they did knock off 50% off the bill. Hope it’s warm next time!
