Lovely bar, food and drinks great, staff were fab and dog friendly, couldn't ask for more, nothing negative to say about the Shiny Sheff

Great for a pint on a nice evening over looking the golf course. Bar service very very slow but a good range of draught and bottled ales. Food is very good value, not 5 star dining but I would imagine is a great place to take the family and not have to break the bank. Visited on a Tuesday night and it was very quiet to say its the only pub within a couple of miles. Will visit again. Curry was surprisingly good!

Went for our Anniversary the staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful, even allowing us to take our own cake. The meal was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. We went for Mother's day and would happily return in the future.

I really wanted to like this place as it's just been re-furbished. But sadly the food was a let down. It was grill night so I had a sirloin steak. The menu said it came with onion rings (I double checked) but there were none. The steak was nice although a bit rarer than medium-rare. Thanks
I don't know how they managed to find peas as tasteless as the ones I was served they were horrible and even though I was hungry I couldn't eat them.
Staff were very friendly but it felt like they were still learning the ropes.
Really sorry but I won't be coming back. 😢
Edit: recently returned and it had improved so credit where it's due. I had pie and chips-very nice tbh.
