I hired a car from Avis and they charged me a 200 pound deposit in case I had an accident. I had a small one for which they assessed the damage at 350 pounds. I have just checked my bank account. The deposit hasn't been returned to me (Europcar in Ireland returned it when I returned the car) and they have debited me 350 pounds not 305 pounds. I returned the car over a week ago. I sent them 2 more emails and I still haven't heard from them. Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
