Stumbled across this gem of a pub on the way back to home during a meandering bike ride. A good selection of ales, friendly staff and a nice beer garden looking down the valley make this a perfect place for an afternoon catch up or relax. Sadly it was dark when we arrived so I'm only guessing at the view, there's no reason to expect there is a building site blocking the view though....

Realy nice pub the food was fantastic and a good little play area for the kids. And a decent range of Bradfield beers.

Good food! Good Beer! Good service! Great location! Excellent value for money. Play outside area for children if it's a nice day.

This is my local, within walking distance, so very handy! The beer is excellent. Farmers range, my favourite being Blond. There are regular guest beers to try too. The food is hearty and good portions with the 2 for £5 menu exceptional value. The staff are friendly and good at their job. There's a garden with swings for kiddies and the view is second to none over Rivelin Valley. Big car park too where they hold their bonfire each year. Come along and give it a try!
