Abysmal, espeically for a Premier Inn. Rooms are not great - no air con, poor lighting, and a deafening bathroom fan. Someone must have emptied an ashtray into the ventilation because the place stinks like a crackden. Drains also stink and toilet was not clean. Not enough toilet roll for even one 'movement' caused extreme awkwardness. Cleaners couldn't be bothered with my room on one day, and left the window wide open on another. Bed sheets were thrown on so fell off during the night. Very noisy - door slams echo through the hotel, and upstairs sounds like a nightclub. I spent 15 minutes at reception on one day waiting for some help and ended up giving up - there is a culture of laziness amongst the staff in this hotel. Hairdryer mounted at floor level so you basically have to kneel down to use it. Couple of friendly enough people in restaurant.

Great location, perfect for Meadowhall shopping, down the road you can find the retail outlet with cinema and plenty of restaurants. Also there are tram stations either side of the hotel within 10 minutes walk, great to get into the city. Only issue we had was with the air con but the fan worked fine instead.

Rooms have no ability to cool properly without the room fan, even with one and countless requests for the cleaners to leave on during the day but constantly switching them off, the rooms are always hot. Sweaty nights sleep every time. The reception staff are helpful and accommodating hence the 2 stars.( would be 3 but they can't make the cleaners keep the fan on.) Food was poor, only tried it 3 times and each time it was poor. 6 week stay was ok but would try elsewhere if it wasn't for the close proximity to work.

Easily accessible from the motorway and ideal if you need to be around Meadowhall. There's plenty of parking and a small bar/restaurant, although there are plenty of alternative places to eat and drink nearby. A tram track runs close behind the hotel but it wasn't loud enough to disturb.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and modern with all the facilities you would expect. It wasn't air conditioned but had a good tall fan but as the temperature for this stay was normal neither was needed. Perhaps could be a problem in very hot weather? It was also quiet with a very comfortable bed. All the staff we met cleaning, reception and breakfast were polite and helpful. This hotel must have good training and management. The breakfast is excellent value with a good range of choices served buffet style.Even the coffee was freshly made and good. The location is easy to find right by J34 of the M1. Fantastic range of shops and eateries 5 minutes walk away in the Meadowhall Shopping Centre where you can also catch the Supertram into Sheffield city centre. Recommended.
