Staff are great, nice chilled relaxed atmosphere. The beer is reasonably priced and good quality. The pool and snooker tables are great quality and well maintained and if after all that you are hungry the food just happens to be to die for. Good stuff all round

Don't often write reviews, needs must with regards to vista's at Cheemas snooker club.
I'll try and make it short however, there's loads to complain about.
1) Table quality was extremely sub standard.
2) Terrible customer service.
3) Extremely high prices (pool&snooker).
4) lack of car park spaces.
5) Appalling un professional manner.
Many more but had to keep it clean....
This was a planned one off visit, while my wife was at the Sunderland Empire.
I messaged the club and ask whether I needed to be a member. There reply was you can join,however pay £1 visitor fee instead.
On Saturday I turned up slightly earlier, the owner was abroapt, snappy and ignorant. He said that it's the club policy not to let other members to sign me in and for me to pay a £6 joining fee. I decided to ask a member to use they club number. He wasn't exactly happy with this, nevertheless he wanted my money. The owner checked my tip and explained the club rules ( do not sit , learn on the tables and don't put the snooker trays balls on the cloth).
I played snooker for hour and a hour, came down stairs to find out it was £8.50 . My son said can we play pool I reply yeah choose a table. The owner reply no wait you need to be signed in, that guy you had signed in earlier has left. What a carry on !! We play 4 games of pool the paid £7.50. What a joke.
Basically in the club 2 and a hour ish hours. Cost me £8.50 + £7.50 + £2.00 entry fee. £0.50 cue hire for my son, 2 soft drinks £4.00.
Total £22.50 for 2.5 hours of snooker / pool time . Disgusting, rip off.
I spoke to numerous club members there and they said it's a rip off. I've read many of these review and it appears that I wentitled to a different club !!!!! . Never ever again even it was free .....

Great place and lovely decor. Wide screen tv's. Tables are in good condition with rules of not to lean against tables or to put your drinks near them. Plenty of table and chairs to have drinks. Not had the food, but what I have seen being served looked nice. Reasonable prices.

I regularly visit Cheemas with friends and family for pool. Excellent place, lovely staff and decent food!

Nice and friendly and the place is spotless. Pool and snooker tables are well maintained. I wish the place has air con in the summer months. You can also purchase good quality food and the drinks are reasonable priced.
