Good quality sports clothes or shoes. Staff aren't very helpful but prices are quite cheap

Awful service! I bought a trousers for my son and was told I could bring it back if it didn't fit. I did return the trousers to the shop with the original bag, tags, and receipt the day after!! The girl at the till was so rude! I have never experienced anything like it!! I told her that it was within my statutory rights to get my money back for an item that did not fit properly. She screamed at me making sure all the staff and clients could hear her and said she didn't have to give me my money back, that they talked about on TV last week??? A new law???? And then I said it would have been nice to tell me when I bought the item and asked the cashier if I could return it that No refund would be given but an exchange!! Well she was screaming!!! I asked to talk to the manager, she said she was! Her colleague seemed surprised when she said that??? I asked her name, she said she didn't have to tell me!!! As I was talking to her to explain my side of the story she kept telling me to calm down but I was explaining what I thought!! I was not being rude at all!! Was she not supposed to handle it with respect!! Unreal!!
As I googled sport direct I am astonished by the number of complaints. It seems to me that this company only care about the money they make!! And absolutely No Care for their customers. I will simply stop shopping there! I then went to an other sport store and I was welcomed with a smile and great service!!! I was telling them what just had happened to me in sport direct and they said lots of people complain about the bullying attitude of sport direct! I never ever complain about a store before and ever on line but I was so chocked that I had to share my experience. I try to phone customer services but it says that the lines are busy and you get cut off!! Absolute rubbish!!!!
