Basic bog standard Wetherspoons food and fayre. During the evening it's a kids pub largely populated by late teens and early 20's. It's frankly magnificent interior is frankly wasted in its present usage. Great if your young and looking for a cheap evening to go out on the lash, but if your over 25 don't bother!

A lovely building but smells dreadful .of old beer and everything is grubby. As you enter strong smell of smoke 8am .. Came in as other half wanted a cooked breakfast. I had a bacon roll ( dreadful need to change roll supplier) won't be coming again . cooked breakfast was average. Some one needs to look at this building as I imagine it is listed ,what a waste of a theatre. Staff were polite which is why you got 1 star

I was delighted this weekend to experience first hand spoons' pioneering introduction of blind and deaf bouncers alongside their employment of those with the unfortunate disability of having been born with their head up their own arse. Hopefully this excellent work will soon stretch to include the acceptance of bouncers who aren't complete jobsworth wankers. Thanks for ruining my mates birthday.

Just turned up for my usual Sunday morning breakfast only to be told that the kitchen is out of action due to a technical issue.
Devastated!!
Back at my favourite Wetherspoons for Saturday breakfast prior to football at The Valley. Two of us always meet for a meal on matchdays, either breakfast or Tuesday steak night. Can't beat it for value & The Opera House is a delightful venue.
Tuesday 1pm back for delicious steak meal (recommend sirloin). Excellent apart from no mustard available, they'd run out! Otherwise very enjoyable washed down with a glass of Merlot.
