Rooms nicely decorated. Room was fairly small. Could do with better lighting as there was no where to do make up. Food was fab though. Lots of stairs and wonky floors so not suitable for old people or those with mobility issues.

A very quirky and lively spot hidden away up on the common. Had not been before and loved the decor as well as the beer selection. Didn't have any food but both saw and smelt a few dishes as they went past and will definitely be going back to give the food a go.

Lovely place, lots of friendly/helpful staff. We had the lamb roast, beef roast, veg nut roast and the fish platter. All we very nice except the lamb, it was quite chewy. The veg was lovely, roast potatoes were superb!

Can be up and down sometimes at the moment it's really great! You can take your dog and the service (even in the bar area) is really attentive.
Had a lovely chorizo salad with the wife.

We stayed there for three nights over the bank holiday week end. The place is lovely. The hotel and rooms are beautiful and full of character. Staff and service are excellent and always handy. The food is one of the best I had in quite a lot of time. Not a single thing was wrong and we had a lovely long week end.
