Food was delicious.. the small menu is refreshing as they have the best on offer. The mushrooms in garlic and wine sauce with melted cheese on top were my favourite. Also recommend the fajitas for mains ..

This restaurant is UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT and I have been stunned how different it might be from past dining experience.
The new owner took over mid-December; we went there last night and the food was super fresh and tasty; we were very pleasantly surprised and would now definitely recommend it.
If you've not been since December, give it another try and I'm sure you'll be as pleased as us.
Premises are very clean (including the all-important toilets) and the staff were great and made us feel very welcome.
Overall, we had a great night out and enjoyed several amazing cocktails.

Very slow service with a very limited menu. Lots of dishes were not available as it looks like ingredients are not being ordered. The food is not fresh and you could easily cook better dishes at home for a third of the price. Not worth wasting money going here.

Been coming here for years but it seems to be going downhill now. We say outsider next to the door underneath the canopy and people started smoking. I was about to ask the waitress to inform them that it's illegal to smoke here but she bought them an ash tray. So we moved inside. Good was unfortunately mediocre. My wife had prawn fajitas and was only given 5 prawns. None of our mains were very tasty. We had some nachos to start and at £4/5 we expected enough for at least to of us, instead we had less than 20 nachos in a little pot. Only one of us had desert, key lime pie, he sent it back, it was mostly frozen and what wasnt frozen had no taste. I discussed all of this with the manager to which she was sorry however didn't offer us so much as a drink to bring us back on side. A real shame.

We unexpectedly had a free evening so thought we'd try Zapata's on a whim. The service was excellent, and we were really impressed with the food - flavoursome, decent portion sizes and beautifully cooked. Perhaps things have been improved since other reviews or they were in on the regular chef's day off? I can't recall whether there was any music playing but it certainly wasn't intrusive music as a previous reviewer found. We will definitely be returning there though and hold our experience wasn't unusual!
