Most of the food was very good, except the lamb shank which didn't fall off of the bone. The piece of plastic in it was very disappointing and pointed out and the manager who said he would show it to the cook to see if it came off of the lamb shank or out of the mash. He was very apologetic and gave us a free glass of wine. Otherwise nice place, reasonable price meals; especially the gammon.

This hotel is a very average place to stay would not go over broad about the food as it is out dated and none of it is fresh even the mash potato was instant the sausages had no taste and were over cooked the menu needs a good revamp and more healthy choices. Tables full of dirty plates and glasses every time we went down to eat breakfast or an evening meal.
As for the rooms well need updating.beds and pillows were to soft, more furniture needed in rooms nowhere to put clothes that don't need hanging up .upon arriving at this hotel was met by a very rude and unhelpful receptionist
This hotel is not suitable for people with disabilities.lift does not fit a wheel chair or pushchair.
Would not recommend this hotel for a long stay.

Hotel is in a great convenient position on the seafront. We had a large side room with a big bay window wih a view of the pier. The shower was powerful and hot (but the shower curtain tended to stick to one's body). The towels and heated towel rail were luxurious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff are all pleasant and helpful. The price does not include breakfast but it is large and tasty. The only downside is it's £10 for 24 hours in the nearest car park, so this needs to be taken into account, together with the cost of breakfast, when comparing prices. We hope to stay again.

It's a 'spoons, and certainly the better 'spoons in Weston. The food is consistent, the beer is generally fairly well kept (although not as good as some spoons cellars I think), and the setting/location is fantastic. You can overlook the sea, and unlike most spoons there are little nooks rather than being a huge warehouse. It's not a luxury dining experience, but it's consistent and many mains include a free pint.

We wanted to say an absolute MASSIVE thank you to all the staff and manager at the Cabot who allowed us to hold a wedding reception with them. Nothing was to big or to small for the staff. From the moment I first called them to the time we left they were extremely accommodating. The food was lovely and everyone was just amazing. Thank you
