Really lovely cosy “proper” pub, great selection of ales (I had a IPA called earl grey a delicious) great atmosphere and not to big in a very good way!

This is a good pub with a great atmosphere,plenty of real ales and ciders,sandwiches,pork pies and bar snacks, also quizzes on thursday and sunday evenings

Warm friendly pub. A good selection of Ales friendly service. Very tall guy I think called Alex worked behind bar, when I first walked in thought he was stood on a crate!, but he turned out warm welcoming and funny. Shame about lack of food, but the pies was nice. I just came from Bills restaurant and from that unpleasantness to this traditional British pub put my faith back into the UK. Thank you all round.
