Everything a great pub should be; wide and interesting choice of ales, friendly staff with a knowledgable landlord who knows how to look after both beer and customers. And he can cook!

Excellent real ale pub just outside the city walls. Popular with the local student population as well as lovers of well served & competitively priced alcohol. Serves wood fired pizzas & homemade burgers.
