Extremely moving to walk into the narthex of this church in the shadow of the Minster and read the list of names of English martyrs. Nearby is the shrine of St. Margaret Clitherow.

The exterior is tucked in and obviously dwarfed by the nearby Minster, but the interior is really lovely.

I attended a funeral in Saint Wifrid's, which in itself was moving and personal. A contemporary Roman Catholic service. However, I'm giving it five stars for how well organised the church and how personal and friendly the Father was. Thank you.
